Fees and Insurance Coverage
Payment is due at time of service. I accept Flex Spending cards, Health Savings Account cards, credit cards, cash and personal checks. Most health insurance plans do not have any IBCLC's in-network and should reimburse for your visit.
So that you can focus on time with your baby, I will assist you with obtaining reimbursement for your out-of-network claim. My medical biller will submit your claim for reimbursement of fees paid. Claim submission is not a guarantee of reimbursement. Please call your insurance company for details.
The Affordable Care Act requires health insurance companies to cover breastfeeding counseling services "for the duration of breastfeeding. Insurers must share up-to-date information about breastfeeding counseling providers who participate in their network plans. [Note: if a plan cannot provide counseling services in-network, your plan must allow you to obtain services from an out-of-network provider at no cost.]"

I can see these families for an office visit on Thursdays. Home visits are available with a $50 travel fee. The travel fee is not eligible for insurance reimbursement.
These insurance companies may also apply part of your visit to co-insurance or deductible. You will be required to have a credit card on file and give permission to charge these fees, if applicable.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
